Hospice is care for individuals with a terminal condition and includes services from medical to non-medical care such as pet and music therapy. The goal of hospice is to keep a patient comfortable and maintain their quality of life. We also provide emotional support to families throughout this difficult process.

After that, our medical director will assemble a team of care advisers to create a customized plan for the patient based on their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Hospice care is fully covered by Medicare and most insurance companies. However it is always recommended to contact the insurance provider to make sure hospice is covered.

Our hospice services can be provided in a patient’s home, nursing home, or a long-term care facility. Our team works closely with the patient’s primary care doctor throughout the process. We will also work with the facility where the patient is residing if they are not at their own to coordinate scheduled visits.

We work closely with the patient’s doctor to coordinate the best plan possible so that the patient is receiving the medications, therapies, and other attention the doctor recommends. We adjust our care plan to the patient’s needs and the doctor’s recommendations.
